One drawback of curtain backing is that the cleaning the material is botheration. But then again the material being durable, with some care from your side the screen will serve for a long time.

One of the great choices is the matte white, because of its flexibility and brilliant performance. There is a high variation in contrast of this type of material, which works much better for the projectors with moderate output and with some control over the ambient lighting.
